BIB – Bernhardiner in Bali signet ring

The Bernhardiner Sennenhund has been guarding the Alps like a health patron for centuries. Legend has it that during winter, these gentle giants carried emergency rations around their necks for people rescued from avalanches — sustaining victims long enough to be brought back safely to the hospice of St. Bernhard.

Nowadays the Bernhardiner is a beloved companion breed, no longer an avalanche dog due to its physical restrictions — but don't be fooled. He’s still out there, ripping waves like nobody’s watching.
